Details & Inspection Notes

BluePrint's 350 Cruiser is a dressed, carbureted small block built around daily-driving manners rather than peak output: 341 horsepower and 371 lb-ft of torque at a 9.0:1 compression ratio, tuned to pull strong vacuum for power brakes and run comfortably on 87-octane fuel.

Who this suits

This is aimed at a street or daily-driver build with a stock torque converter and stock gearing rather than a high-compression performance combo, and BluePrint notes it is designed to work well with power brakes thanks to the vacuum it produces. Aluminum heads, a hydraulic roller cam, and a cast iron crankshaft with hypereutectic pistons make up the long block.

What comes with it

The package is dressed rather than a bare long block: it includes an aluminum intake, an HEI distributor, spark plugs and wires, a 600 CFM Holley carburetor, a mechanical fuel pump, a water neck and thermostat, valve covers, an oil pan, a timing cover, and a front-mounted alternator, power steering pump, A/C compressor, and water pump as a complete accessory drive. BluePrint ships dyno test results with the engine.

What to check before ordering

BluePrint specifically notes the included front accessory drive does not fit Corvette applications, so confirm your chassis before relying on that hardware. This engine carries a 30-month, 50,000-mile warranty. A California installation of this engine should go through the Bureau of Automotive Repairs engine-change process rather than being treated as a stock swap.

Common questions

Does it include a carburetor? Yes, a 600 CFM Holley.

Is the ignition electronic? It uses an HEI distributor rather than a computer-controlled system.
