Details & Inspection Notes
This BluePrint Builder Series package pairs an 815-horsepower, fuel-injected 632 cubic-inch big-block Chevy-compatible engine with a 4L80E automatic transmission, sized for a builder who wants both ends of the drivetrain matched and ready to install. The 632 reaches 775 lb-ft of torque with an 11.0:1 compression ratio, and the whole assembly arrives with a polished front accessory drive already in place.
What the package covers
The long block carries BluePrint's aluminum cylinder heads, a hydraulic roller camshaft, forged pistons, and a forged crankshaft, along with a complete EFI fuel system built around an Aeromotive A1000 pump. Bolted to it is a 4L80E transmission with its own electronic controller, lockup capability, and a torque converter rated for a 3,800-4,200 rpm stall. A non-weighted flexplate, starter, distributor, spark plugs and wires, water pump, and the polished alternator, power steering, and A/C hardware round out the kit, so the main remaining steps are mounting, wiring, and fluids.
Fitment notes to check
BluePrint built this combination around the 7.4L/454 big-block Gen V and Gen VI family used in Chevrolet trucks from 1991 through 2000, and the 4L80E pairing follows that same fitment window. The block has a raised deck height and raised exhaust ports compared with a stock OEM casting, so confirm header, motor mount, and accessory clearance for your specific chassis before ordering. The engine is not built to run with EGR hardware, and BluePrint specifies 91-octane fuel and its own BPP710 oil for break-in and service.
Common questions
Does it come assembled? Yes, both the engine and the 4L80E are supplied as a matched, assembled combo rather than separate pieces you have to mate yourself.
Is a flywheel included? No; the automatic application uses the included flexplate instead.
What fuel pump does it use? An Aeromotive A1000, part of the complete EFI system built into the package.
