Pick fuel injection over the carburetor on this same Standard Edition small-block: output holds at 436 horsepower with 443 pound-feet, compression unchanged at 10.0:1, matched to a 700R4 automatic with a weighted flexplate rather than the carbureted combo's one-piece version.

Fuel system and dress

A complete EFI system, pump kit included, feeds a dual-plane intake; spark plugs and wires come fitted with separators, and an oil filter rounds out the package. The familiar H8002K heads carry their 0.500-inch raised port, over a 3.750-inch-stroke crank and 5.700-inch rods turning hypereutectic pistons, with a weighted 8-inch balancer and polished front hardware covering the compressor and steering-pump mounts.

Transmission package

The 700R4 here stalls its torque converter in the 2,200-2,400 rpm window and ships with a weighted flexplate and a starter already fitted. Tire sizes and rear-gear ratios differ enough from one customer's build to the next that BluePrint ships this transmission without a speedometer gear or sender housing, leaving that detail for the builder to match. Fits Chevrolet applications 1967 through 2002. Not designed for EGR compatibility.

What changed from the carbureted combo? Just the fuel system and the flexplate style; everything else underneath, engine output included, stays the same between the two.
