Details & Inspection Notes
Harmonic balancer, long water pump, waterneck and thermostat, and a fuel pump distinguish this deluxe carbureted dress of BluePrint's cruiser 350 from the base carbureted tier, while output holds steady at 341 horsepower, 371 lb-ft.
Built for the street, not the strip
BluePrint's cam profile here favors vacuum and idle quality over a high-rpm punch, so stock gearing and a stock converter keep working the way they always have, and 87 octane fuel is plenty. Spark plugs and spark plug wires ship installed, and the same aluminum intake, HEI distributor, and 600 CFM carburetor carry over from the base dress.
Inside the long block
Bore is 4.000 inches on a new, USA-machined cast iron block with a one-piece rear seal. A 3.480-inch stroke and 5.700-inch forged rods push compression to 9.2:1 under BluePrint's own aluminum heads, timed to 32 degrees at 3,500 rpm, with BluePrint's coverage good for 30 months or 50,000 miles.
Q: Is the water pump part of this package? Yes, along with the thermostat and waterneck, it ships already mounted.
This tier suits a builder who wants the cruiser combination as close to ready-to-run as BluePrint's carbureted dress gets, without stepping up to the front accessory drive a daily driver with its original alternator and power steering may not need at all.
