Compared with BluePrint's base carbureted 350, the BP3505CTCD throws in a harmonic balancer, a long water pump, a waterneck and thermostat, and a fuel pump, on top of the same 600 CFM carburetor, aluminum intake, and HEI distributor.

Closer to ready to run

Spark plugs and spark plug wires also ship installed, along with valve covers, oil pan, and timing cover. Short of the version with a full front accessory drive, this is the most complete carbureted dress BluePrint offers on this platform, leaving the fewest separate parts between the crate and a running engine. Rated output remains 390 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque.

Inside the long block

The block is a new, 4.000-inch-bore cast iron casting, machined in the USA with a one-piece rear main seal. BluePrint's aluminum H8002K heads use a 64cc chamber for 9.2:1 compression, with valve sizing of 2.02 inches on the intake side and 1.60 on the exhaust side. BluePrint's warranty runs 30 months or 50,000 miles.
