Details & Inspection Notes

Carburetor, intake, and distributor already bolted on separate the BP3505CTC from BluePrint's bare 350 long block. Output stays at the family's 390-hp, 410-lb-ft rating; a 600 CFM carburetor and aluminum intake handle the breathing, with an HEI distributor supplying spark to every cylinder.

Why this tier over the bare long block

Skipping a separate intake-and-carburetor purchase saves a step, since BluePrint has already proven these particular parts together on its own dyno. A harmonic balancer, a fuel pump, and a water pump are not part of what ships here, so budget for those three separately.

Inside the long block

Forged connecting rods measuring 5.700 inches turn hypereutectic pistons above a 3.480-inch stroke. The block itself is new, cast iron, machined in the USA to a 4.000-inch bore with a one-piece rear seal. Ignition timing is set to 32 degrees at 3,500 rpm, and BluePrint's coverage on this engine runs 30 months or 50,000 miles from the date of purchase.

Q: What do I still need to add? Source your own water pump, fuel pump, and harmonic balancer; none of the three come with this dress level.

Buyers who already have those three accessories on hand from a previous engine, or who would rather pick their own aftermarket versions instead of BluePrint's selection, get the most value from choosing this tier over a more fully dressed one.
