Details & Inspection Notes
Part 8778516 is OER's passenger-side quarter panel sized for the Chevy II and Nova two-door, spanning the 1968 and 1969 model years.
One stamping, not a patch
Rather than a skin that covers over rust, this piece is stamped as the full quarter area in one heavy-gauge steel piece, holding the jamb, the gutter behind the trunk, and the sail panel section together to the original factory dimensions. A side marker lamp opening comes pre-cut, and the seams line up with where the factory piece met the body. OER applies a black EDP coating against corrosion, so paint and primer can go straight on without any stripping first.
Match it to your car
OER's coverage spans the 1968 Chevy II Nova along with the 1969 Nova, two-door body style only. Its mirror image, part 8778517, is the left-hand piece; double check that right-hand is the side your project needs and that the car is a two-door before you buy.
Shipping note
Size pushes this panel into truck freight territory rather than a standard parcel box.
Does this fit a four-door Chevy II? No, OER restricts the application to two-door body styles.
Is the jamb area part of the stamping? Yes, the jamb, gutter and sail panel sections are all one piece.
