This center console assembly reproduces the 1968-69 Firebird's automatic-trans console in the correct Burlwood finish, built from injection-molded and die-cast parts made to the original design rather than a generic aftermarket shape.
What is included
A wood-grain metal trim overlay, attached to the console the way it was originally offered, gives the Burlwood appearance, and the console box carries the correct soft flocked lining inside. Chrome trim and the console door are both part of the complete assembly, so it arrives ready for mounting once the shift plate is on hand.

The shift plate is not included and is sold separately, so plan for that if you need a complete, finished console. This item ships oversize, which is worth planning for when arranging delivery or freight pickup. It is built for a 1968 or 1969 Pontiac Firebird.
