Details & Inspection Notes

AMD's 510-3466-R is the passenger-side outer door skin for a 1966-1967 Chevrolet Chevelle or El Camino, stamped from heavy-gauge steel and finished in a black EDP coating. It replaces the outer skin only, leaving your original door shell structure in place underneath, so the job is a skin swap rather than a full door replacement.

Two-door only, not sedans

Fitment here is specific: this skin is built for the 1966-1967 Chevelle and Malibu two-door hardtop and convertible, plus the 1966-1967 El Camino, and it will not fit four-door sedan bodies. Check your car's door style, not just its model year, before ordering.

What stays, what gets replaced

Because only the outer skin is replaced, the inner door structure, hinges and glass mechanism from your original door carry over. The EDP coating is there to resist corrosion while the panel sits in your shop before and after welding, giving you a clean surface to prep for paint.

Common questions

Will this fit a four-door Chevelle? No, this skin is not built for sedans.

Do I need to replace the whole door, or just the skin? This part is the outer skin only; your existing door shell remains.

Performance Installation & Verification Checklist
