350 Deluxe Dressed Carbureted Crate Engine

BluePrint's 350 Deluxe Dressed Carbureted Crate Engine is a complete, carbureted 350CI longblock rated at 390 HP and 410 FT LBS of torque, built on a new BluePrint cast iron block with a 4-bolt main and a 4.000" bore. It's sold dressed, meaning the accessories that turn a bare longblock into a running engine are already bolted on.

What's under the valve covers

The rotating assembly is built around a cast iron crank and hypereutectic pistons, with the crank turning a 3.480" stroke and the connecting rods measuring 5.700" (forged), balanced internally at the front and externally at the rear. BluePrint's aluminum heads (H8002K) use a 64cc chamber with 2.02" intake and 1.60" exhaust valves on 195cc intake and 75cc exhaust runners, matched to a roller camshaft with .495"/.502" lift and 220 / 224 degrees of duration at .050 on a 114 degree lobe separation. Ignition timing is set at 32 Degrees Total at 3500 RPM.

What comes with it

Beyond the longblock, the package includes valve covers, a harmonic balancer, spark plugs and wires, a long style water pump running standard rotation, a thermostat with its waterneck, a mechanical fuel pump, an oil pan, a timing cover, an aluminum intake, an HEI distributor, and a 600 cfm carburetor, plus the engine's own dyno test results. The block is also drilled and tapped for clutch linkage and carries a passenger side dipstick and a 1-piece rear main seal.
