Details & Inspection Notes
The 2018 Evinrude E115DSL is a new, white-finished 115 HP V4 outboard on a 20-inch shaft, steered remotely through a tiller accessory rather than a handlebar grip mounted on the motor.
Inside the V4 block
Bore and stroke come in at 91 by 66 millimeters for a swept volume of 1726 cc, and the engine climbs to a 5,500-6,000 RPM ceiling at full throttle. E-TEC direct injection shifts into a stratified low-RPM mode so idling and dockside maneuvering stay smooth. The primary gearing works out to 2.00:1, and dry weight is listed at 390 pounds.
Electrical load and trim range
Total alternator output is 133 amps, and 50 of those amps are set aside net dedicated for a fishfinder, livewell pump, or other accessories beyond the ignition itself. Trac-1 power trim and tilt gives -4 to 17 degrees of trim adjustment, with tilt opening out to 75 degrees, operated through mechanical gear shift controls.
Rigging and what ships in the box
Plan console or side-mount rigging rather than a tiller handle fixed to the motor, since steering here is remote with a tiller accessory. It ships with a fuel tank, a quick-connect fuel line, a tilt switch, an aluminum propeller, a trim limiter, and the printed owner's documentation. This unit is new, not used or refurbished, and runs on unleaded fuel through multi-point targeted oiling.
Can it be steered from a boat's console? Yes, that is how it ships, through remote control with a tiller accessory. What does it weigh? 390 pounds dry.
