Details & Inspection Notes
This reproduction left-hand front fender for a 1969 Firebird comes finished in an EDP coating, meant to be prepped and painted to the car's final color rather than installed bare.
What is built into the panel
The fender includes the correct side marker lamp cutout for a 1969 Firebird, along with recessed areas formed for the fender ornaments, so those trim pieces should locate correctly without extra cutting. Dynacorn-style reproduction tooling for this fender is built to match the original's dimensions closely enough that panel fit should be comparable to a factory piece once installed.
One fitment detail to check
Holes are already provided in the lower rear section of the fender for the wide lower moldings. If the car uses the narrow lower moldings instead, those pre-drilled holes need to be filled and new holes drilled in the correct location for the narrow trim, so check which molding style the car has before painting and trimming it out. Because EDP coating is a protective primer rather than a finish color, plan for standard body prep, such as scuffing and priming, before paint, and confirm this is the left side before ordering, since fenders are sold individually per side.
