Details & Inspection Notes
This Dynacorn 1619 left-hand front fender is built for the 1962-1965 Chevrolet Nova and is sold as a single reproduction panel.
What it is
Dynacorn, which has supplied classic muscle car restoration sheet metal since 1984, stamps this fender using new tooling, with the goal of matching the original panel's contours and mounting holes. As a full fender rather than a patch panel, it is intended for a car whose original left-front fender is rusted through, collision damaged, or missing outright.
Fitting notes
Test-mount the fender against the car's hood, door, and front bumper before committing to final paint, since reproduction panels commonly need minor shimming at the fender brace and hinge pillar to get consistent gaps across a four-year model run that saw several minor body updates. Treat any raw or cut edges against rust before final assembly, and confirm that trim, emblem, and marker-light holes, if the car's original fender had them, line up with the year of Nova being restored, since small trim details did shift across 1962-1965. Being sold individually and for the left side only, make sure this is the side the project actually needs before ordering.
Performance Installation & Verification Checklist
