Torqeedo sizes the 6.0 pair for dinghies and sailboats up to 6 tons, a step up from the smaller Cruise 3.0 line.

Reading range as you run

The tiller handle hosts an onboard computer that recalculates remaining range from live GPS data instead of showing one static number for the whole outing, so the figure on display reflects your actual speed and load as you go.

Power, including third-party packs

A single Power 48-5000 lithium pack, sold separately at 80 lbs, is the primary option, with lead-gel or AGM lead batteries also usable. Owners who already have a compatible 48-volt pack from elsewhere can run certain third-party batteries here too, provided they match the motor's power draw and an extra cable set is fitted.

At 25 inches, this is the shorter-transom option between the two Cruise 6.0 variants; the long-shaft TL runs a different length entirely, so confirm which one your boat actually needs before placing an order for either.
