Essentially the short-shaft version of Tohatsu's trim-equipped 25hp tiller-or-remote model, the MFS25DETS weighs 156 lbs on a 15-inch shaft and runs the same 526cc three-cylinder four-stroke with power trim and tilt. Electric start with a manual pull-cord backup is standard, and either a tiller or remote mechanical control can be fitted.
