Choosing standard or counter rotation

This model is offered in standard rotation or counter rotation, which matters most if you are rigging two of these outboards side by side. Pairing one standard-rotation unit with one counter-rotation unit lets the propellers turn opposite directions, which helps a twin-engine boat track straight under power instead of pulling to one side.
