Details & Inspection Notes
An AC/DC TIG and stick machine rated at 210A, this Syncrowave arrives with running gear and cable storage already attached, so it is ready to roll into a bay rather than needing a cart sourced separately.
Setting it up
Pick a mode — AC TIG for aluminum, straight DC TIG, or DC stick — dial in amperage against your material thickness, and go; Miller built the control panel around that three-step routine rather than a menu of secondary settings. Squarewave output with adjustable AC balance handles the oxide cleaning aluminum TIG depends on.
Power and footprint
Weighing about 133 pounds with its running gear, the unit takes 115V or 230V input and pulls under 30 amps even at full output on 230V service. A memory-card slot on the front panel allows software updates or added features down the line without shipping the unit out for service, and Auto-Line electronics adapt to whichever of the two voltages is available with no manual rewiring step.
Hardware included
The power source ships with its primary cord and plugs, a TIG torch, matching work cable, an electrode holder, a foot control, a flow regulator, and the running gear with a low cylinder rack already mentioned above.
Does it need a dedicated 230V circuit? Not necessarily — it accepts 115V as well, so check whichever is already run to your bay.
Three-year Miller coverage on this new welder.

Welding Equipment Setup & Pre-Operation Checklist
- Verify workshop mains voltage, circuit breaker rating, and phase match the welding machine specifications.
- Inspect ground clamp cable, torch lead, and work cables for tight, clean, low-resistance connections.
- Secure shielding gas cylinders upright with safety chains; inspect regulator and hose connections for gas leaks.
- Confirm correct wire diameter, drive roll groove profile, and contact tip size match the spool installed.
