Details & Inspection Notes
Adding a Spoolmate 150 spool gun to the AC/DC TIG and stick Syncrowave 210, this package covers aluminum wire feeding on top of the torch and stinger work the base machine already does, aimed at a shop that wants one more process without a second power source.
Why the spool gun matters here
Feeding aluminum wire through a spool gun avoids the long liner runs that cause feed problems on a standard MIG torch, so this pairing is less about adding raw capability and more about making aluminum wire work reliably on a TIG-first machine. It can weld material a quarter inch thick in one pass across aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel.
Dialing it in
Pro-Set loads factory-tuned starting points for the DIG and balance controls, so a new material does not mean starting from zero every time. It runs on 115V or 230V and weighs about 133 pounds with its built-in running gear and cable storage; check your shop outlets against those two voltage options before delivery.
Hardware included
Besides the power source and primary cord, the box holds a TIG torch, the Spoolmate 150 on its own 20-foot cable, a lead and clamp for the work piece, a stinger-style electrode holder, a pedal, a gas regulator, and the running gear with its low cylinder rack.
Three-year Miller warranty applies to this unit.

Welding Equipment Setup & Pre-Operation Checklist
- Verify workshop mains voltage, circuit breaker rating, and phase match the welding machine specifications.
- Inspect ground clamp cable, torch lead, and work cables for tight, clean, low-resistance connections.
- Secure shielding gas cylinders upright with safety chains; inspect regulator and hose connections for gas leaks.
- Confirm correct wire diameter, drive roll groove profile, and contact tip size match the spool installed.
