Details & Inspection Notes
The wireless foot control is what sets this Dynasty 800 package apart: amperage adjusts from a pedal with no cable tethering it to the machine. It shares the same 800A AC/DC power source rated to weld aluminum up to 1 in thick, with duty cycle at 60% at 450A and 60% at 600A.
Remote control and arc tuning
Nine program memories hold settings, and independent EP/EN amplitude control splits heat between the work and the electrode for cleaner results on exotic materials. The arc itself can be shaped through adjustable AC balance and frequency, useful for cleaning oxide off aluminum, and high-speed DC TIG pulse adds stability on thin sections.
What rides along
A cart underneath holds a cylinder rack, somewhere to mount the foot pedal, plus holders for cables, torches, and the TIG electrode fillers that come with the kit. Riding along with it is a Coolmate 3.5 cooler, a 25 ft water-cooled torch with its own cable cover, a kit of consumables sized to that torch, a flow-gauge regulator, a gas hose, a weld lead with clamp, and a supply of coolant.
What's different from the wired foot control package? Only the remote itself; the torch, cart, and cooler are the same gear.
Does it need a water line? No, it uses the included closed-loop Coolmate 3.5 cooler.
How is input power handled? The power source takes any voltage from 208 up through 575 without rewiring inside, and the primary cord ships separately.

Welding Equipment Setup & Pre-Operation Checklist
- Verify workshop mains voltage, circuit breaker rating, and phase match the welding machine specifications.
- Inspect ground clamp cable, torch lead, and work cables for tight, clean, low-resistance connections.
- Secure shielding gas cylinders upright with safety chains; inspect regulator and hose connections for gas leaks.
- Confirm correct wire diameter, drive roll groove profile, and contact tip size match the spool installed.
