Details & Inspection Notes
This Dynasty 210 is Miller's AC/DC inverter for stick and TIG work, built to run on 120, 230, or 460-volt power without manual relinking. At 47 lbs it suits a shop or job site where the welder moves between stations.
What it handles
Duty cycle is rated 60% at 210A on TIG and 60% at 160A on stick, so it is built for sustained production welding rather than occasional touch-up work. It welds aluminum, mild steel, stainless, and titanium. On the AC/DC TIG side it offers adjustable AC balance and frequency control plus several AC waveform shapes, so an operator can tune the arc for thin aluminum or a more traditional feel. On stick, DIG arc control and adaptive hot start help keep demanding electrodes like 6010 running smoothly, and a low open-circuit-voltage stick mode cuts idle voltage without an add-on reducer.
What ships with it
The unit comes with an 8 ft primary cord with no plug attached, so a plug or hardwired connection has to be added to match the outlet it will run from. It also includes two 50 mm Dinse connectors, a quick reference guide in English and Spanish, and an adjustable shoulder strap for carrying it between jobs. A memory card port lets the software be updated or the feature set expanded later, and a non-contact high-frequency circuit keeps TIG starts clean without the buzz of older starters.
Does it include a cooler? No; this is the standard power source without the CPS cooler receptacle built in.
Can it run on a single circuit? Yes, it accepts 120, 230, or 460-volt input without manual relinking, which is the main benefit of its auto-line design.

Welding Equipment Setup & Pre-Operation Checklist
- Verify workshop mains voltage, circuit breaker rating, and phase match the welding machine specifications.
- Inspect ground clamp cable, torch lead, and work cables for tight, clean, low-resistance connections.
- Secure shielding gas cylinders upright with safety chains; inspect regulator and hose connections for gas leaks.
- Confirm correct wire diameter, drive roll groove profile, and contact tip size match the spool installed.
