Details & Inspection Notes
This Deltaweld 500 ships as a complete MigRunner package: the power source, a dual-wire standard Intellx feeder, a Bernard gun reaching 15 feet, and a dual-cylinder running-gear rack underneath, built for 230/460V three-phase shops that want two wire options ready on one cart.
What the power source brings
ArcConnect replaces the older 14-pin scheme with a single high-speed cable that puts point-of-use controls at the feeder, and Accu-Pulse sharpens control of the pulse arc for a cleaner puddle, which Miller credits with real gains in wire feed speed and deposition on many jobs. Wind Tunnel Technology and Fan-On-Demand keep dust out and the fan quiet until cooling is actually needed.
Numbers that matter here
Duty cycle peaks at 100% through 500A, easing to 60% once draw climbs to 575A, across a 30-650A, 10-44V output range, with the bare power source weighing 405 lbs and gouging reaching carbons up to 3/8″. The dual Intellx feeder adds 50-780 ipm of wire speed, runs .023-5/64″ wire, takes spools as large as 18″ or 60 lbs, weighs 44.8 lbs, and stands 14″H by 18″W by 34.5″L.
Because this is the standard dual feeder rather than the Pro version, solid wire and ordinary flux-cored wire are what it handles; the Pro electronics are what a shop would need to add stainless or metal-cored wire into the mix. There is no 14-pin receptacle on this configuration, since it runs on ArcConnect cabling. A manufacturer's warranty covers Career Welder-level work on this unit.
Can this feeder handle stainless wire? Not this one: the standard dual Intellx covers solid and flux-cored wire, while stainless needs the Pro version. Does it come with a 14-pin receptacle? No, ArcConnect cabling replaces that connection here.

Welding Equipment Setup & Pre-Operation Checklist
- Verify workshop mains voltage, circuit breaker rating, and phase match the welding machine specifications.
- Inspect ground clamp cable, torch lead, and work cables for tight, clean, low-resistance connections.
- Secure shielding gas cylinders upright with safety chains; inspect regulator and hose connections for gas leaks.
- Confirm correct wire diameter, drive roll groove profile, and contact tip size match the spool installed.
