Details & Inspection Notes
Built for general fabrication, automotive and motorsports work, vocational training, or serious hobby use, this Precision TIG 225 Ready Pak (K2535-1) sells the 230A AC/DC TIG and Stick power source bundled with a complete air-cooled torch rather than on its own.
What's in the Ready Pak
Beyond the power source, this bundle covers torch storage (a compartment and a hanger), a work cable and clamp on 10 ft, a removable lift eye, the 9 ft input cord with its NEMA 6-50P plug and receptacle, a procedure guide, and a GTAW handbook. The torch itself is a Pro-Torch PTA-17, air-cooled, 150A capacity, on a 12.5 ft Ultra-Flex cable, with its adapter, tungsten, collet, nozzle, gas hose, and a foot Amptrol all riding along.
What the welder does
Micro-Start II is Lincoln's answer for stable starts, welds, and craters at low amperage on both AC and DC, while AC Auto Balance sets the cleaning-to-penetration mix on aluminum automatically rather than leaving it to guesswork. Cooling only kicks in when the machine actually needs it, cutting noise and dust in the process, and a 115V auxiliary outlet is there for a water cooler or another tool nearby.
