Lincoln's Power MIG 256 package (K3068-1) is a 300A, industrial-grade MIG and flux-cored machine built around Diamond Core Technology, aimed at shops running enough volume that arc stability and wire-drive reliability matter more than portability.

What it's built for

Diamond Core Technology is tuned to keep the arc forgiving, hold stability in out-of-position welding, cut down on spatter, and give a wide usable voltage range at any given wire speed, across steel, stainless, or aluminum. A MAXTRAC cast-aluminum wire drive runs dual driven rolls with regulated feed speed and brass-to-brass connections, paired with a split guide that supports the wire fully so feed stays steady as a spool runs low.

Setup and extras

Digital meters show voltage and wire feed speed during setup and actual voltage while welding, and the Magnum Pro gun on a 15 ft cable extends reach around a workpiece. Copper Plus contact tips use extra mass to dissipate heat and last longer between changes. A 115V auxiliary receptacle powers a grinder or other tool nearby, and the unit is spool-gun ready for aluminum work with the Magnum 250LX or Magnum SG (adapter required for the SG). Rated for 208/230V input at a 40% duty cycle at 250A.
