What's in the pak

This bundle adds a Cool Arc 22 cooler (K3475-1), a rolling cart (K4441-1), a foot pedal (K870), a 25-foot water-cooled torch from the 20 Series with its consumables, a flow-gauge regulator and hose kit, a 15 ft ground clamp set, and a twist-mate connector, stacked on top of the Aspect 230 power source.

What the welder does

Output peaks at 230A at a rated 35% duty cycle, and the unit welds up to 1/4 inch material. Aluminum passes draw on a choice of four wave shapes, running from Triangular through Square and Sine to Soft Square, each one trading off puddle control against arc sound, travel speed, or heat input differently. Input power is self-sensing between 120 and 460 volts, either 50 or 60 Hz, across single- or three-phase service, and up to nine saved procedures can be recalled from memory.
