Details & Inspection Notes
The Lincoln Flextec 350XP is a new multi-process welder covering stick, flux-cored, MIG, TIG, and gouging from one three-phase power source, rated up to 425 amps output. Fully encapsulated, environmentally protected electronics are rated to handle job-site heat as high as 131 degrees Fahrenheit.
What it is for
This power source is compatible with several feeder types, analog, digital, CrossLinc, or across-the-arc, and lets the operator set welding procedures right at the feeder rather than running separate control cables back to the machine. A voltage reduction device lowers open-circuit voltage for added operator safety between welds.
What to check before buying
- Power input: runs on 380 to 600 volt three-phase power; this unit's rated input voltages are 380, 400, 460, and 575.
- Duty cycle: rated 100 percent at 300 amps and 60 percent at 350 amps.
- Weight: at 82 pounds, it is portable enough to move between work areas without a cart.
Can it gouge? Yes, gouging with 3/16-inch carbon electrodes is within its range.
What is included? The power source with Tweco connections and an 8.5-foot power cord with no plug attached.
What is the warranty? Lincoln backs this machine with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.
Output ranges from 5 to 425 amps, wide enough to cover light sheet work and heavier structural welding on the same machine without swapping power sources. welding equipment

Welding Equipment Setup & Pre-Operation Checklist
- Verify workshop mains voltage, circuit breaker rating, and phase match the welding machine specifications.
- Inspect ground clamp cable, torch lead, and work cables for tight, clean, low-resistance connections.
- Secure shielding gas cylinders upright with safety chains; inspect regulator and hose connections for gas leaks.
- Confirm correct wire diameter, drive roll groove profile, and contact tip size match the spool installed.
