Details & Inspection Notes
ESAB's Fabricator 141i Multi Process Welding System is a 115V, single-phase unit that covers MIG, Stick, and TIG from one cabinet, rated up to 140A. It suits home and hobby shops, and light-industrial users, who want one machine to cover all three processes rather than three separate welders.
What it covers
On MIG, the 141i gives infinite voltage and inductance control, a Tweco Fusion-style gun on a 10 ft cable, and a metal feed plate with reversible, quick-change drive rolls and a single tension knob, built to accept 4 or 8 inch wire spools. Stick adds adjustable arc force and a built-in hot start for easier striking. The bundled torch brings TIG into the mix with lift-arc starting, so there is no high-frequency box to deal with, plus a downslope setting to close out a weld cleanly. It is built for mild steel and stainless steel.
In the box
Expect the power supply, the TIG torch, a 10 ft MIG gun rated to 140A, an Argon regulator and gauge with a 12.5 ft hose, an electrode holder on a 13 ft lead, a ground clamp on a 10 ft lead, four E6013 stick electrodes for general use, the operator's manual and CD, a 10 ft power cord with plug, a 115V-to-115V plug adapter, and a shoulder strap.
Common questions
What's the duty cycle? 20% at 90A, dropping to 15% at the full 140A, so pace longer stick or TIG passes. Does it need special shop power? No; it plugs into a standard 115V single-phase outlet. ESAB backs this one with a 3-year limited warranty, and like most welding machines it carries a California Proposition 65 notice.

Welding Equipment Setup & Pre-Operation Checklist
- Verify workshop mains voltage, circuit breaker rating, and phase match the welding machine specifications.
- Inspect ground clamp cable, torch lead, and work cables for tight, clean, low-resistance connections.
- Secure shielding gas cylinders upright with safety chains; inspect regulator and hose connections for gas leaks.
- Confirm correct wire diameter, drive roll groove profile, and contact tip size match the spool installed.
