Details & Inspection Notes
This is a lightweight, all-in-one DC stick welder and AC generator built around a 14 HP Kohler gas engine, rated for up to 150 amps of welding output at a 60 percent duty cycle alongside up to 4.5 kW of generator starting power.
Running tools and welding together
Because the generator output is independent of the welding circuit, it can power lights, grinders, hand tools, light-duty plasma cutters, or even a separate MIG or TIG welder at the same time the stick side is in use, with four 120-volt GFCI receptacles and one 240-volt receptacle on the panel, each protected by its own breaker and cover. An adjustable arc-force control is tuned to help with 6010 electrodes specifically, on top of general-purpose stick settings.
Specification and fit checks
- A 5-gallon fuel tank and an engine-hour meter are built in for tracking service intervals
- Large industrial wheels and removable, ergonomically placed handles are meant to balance the load when moving it around a site
- Thermal protection covers both the welder and generator sections
- Carries a 3-year warranty from ESAB on the welder/generator and a separate 3-year warranty from Kohler on the engine
This unit ships new.
Can I run other tools while welding with this unit? Yes, the generator output is independent of the welding circuit.
What is the duty cycle at full welding output? 60 percent at up to 150 amps, per the listed rating.
