Where the standard short-shaft 6-hp leaves its charging system as an optional add-on, this Sail Pro model has a 12-volt, 60-watt alternator installed from the factory as standard equipment, paired with a high-thrust propeller sized for pushing a heavier sailboat hull rather than a light runabout. The longer shaft here also suits taller transoms than the short-shaft 6-hp uses.

Saltwater resistance comes from zinc-coated passages and marine-grade metals throughout, with a sealed ignition module, a low-oil warning light, and a built-in rpm cutout handling the electronics side.
